unexpected btc range prediction

Robinhood has a crypto prediction market, and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like — people betting on where Bitcoin’s price lands at a specific time. Not the daily close. Not some vague “end of week” window. A specific hour. Sometimes 8am. Sometimes noon. Sometimes 9pm EDT on July 29, 2026.

That last one is the interesting part. Robinhood listed a Bitcoin price range prediction market specifically for July 29, 2026, at 9pm EDT. The full contract ladder for that particular time hasn’t surfaced in available data, so nobody outside Robinhood’s platform can confirm exactly what price ranges are on the board. That’s either frustrating or intriguing, depending on how much you care about this stuff.

Robinhood listed a 9pm EDT July 29, 2026 Bitcoin contract — and the full pricing ladder hasn’t surfaced anywhere.

What is known comes from the neighboring contracts. The 8am EDT version for the same date showed levels like $53,800 or above and $63,600 or above, with several outcomes priced at 99 cents. The 12pm EDT contract had similar range — $53,600 or above all the way up to $63,000 or above, also hitting 99 cents on multiple strikes. So the market was clearly treating a lot of those lower thresholds as near-certainties. Bitcoin was sitting comfortably above them.

The 5pm EDT contract added a sharper data point. According to Guavy, there was a reported 59% chance of Bitcoin being $63,750 or above at that time. That’s not a slam dunk. That’s a coin flip with slightly better odds. For a market that was pricing $63,000 at 99 cents just hours earlier, the jump to uncertainty above $63,750 is actually kind of telling.

Settlement isn’t based on a gut feeling or a chart screenshot, either. Robinhood uses CF Benchmarks’ Real Time Index. Sixty RTI prices get pulled during the final minute before expiration. The average of those 60 prices becomes the official number. That means a single wild minute could theoretically flip an outcome. Fun system. Very calm and relaxing.

The broader prediction market page also lists an end-of-2026 Bitcoin range of $60,000 to $64,999.99 with 12% next to it. Bitcoin’s market dominance of approximately 62.7% as of September 2025 reflects the kind of institutional confidence that makes these long-range price floors feel less arbitrary than they might otherwise appear. So Robinhood’s product isn’t just short-term — it spans from hourly snapshots to full-year outcomes. Different risk windows, same basic structure. These contracts are offered through Robinhood Derivatives, LLC, which means there are restrictions and eligibility requirements that apply before anyone can participate. Each price range on the contract ladder offers a unique option, with a $1 payout awarded for each correct prediction made by eligible participants.

The 9pm EDT contract remains the gap in this picture. The ranges exist. The methodology is documented. The pricing just hasn’t been fully published in available sources. Which, honestly, makes it the most talked-about slot nobody has full data on.
