hype price prediction september 2026

Robinhood has quietly built out a whole prediction market section for crypto, and it’s bigger than most people probably realize. Sixty-two total crypto contracts. Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Dogecoin, Solana, and yes, HYPE. Short-term windows, yearly ranges, price thresholds. The whole thing.

Robinhood quietly built a crypto prediction market with 62 contracts. Most people have no idea it exists.

Now, about that HYPE event on September 21, 2026 at 10pm EDT. Here’s where it gets a little murky. No verified Robinhood contract specifically labeled for 10pm EDT on that date actually surfaced. What did surface was a HYPE price event for 5pm EDT on the same day. That page showed “$92 or above” priced at 99%.

Which, if you’re counting, is about as lopsided a market consensus as it gets. The market was basically screaming that HYPE would be at or above $92 by 5pm. Whether that same confidence carried into a later 10pm window is simply not confirmed by the available data.

That’s not nothing, though. The page itself was timestamped at 20:33:57 on September 21, 2026, which puts it squarely in the neighborhood of the requested time window. Robinhood’s crypto event pages sometimes list multiple time-specific HYPE markets clustered around nearby intervals and dates.

So a 10pm contract may well exist or have existed. It just wasn’t verified. For context, HYPE target prices on nearby prior dates ranged from around $76.70 to $90.46. So the “$92 or above” threshold on September 21 represented a significantly higher bar than what had been typical. The market apparently didn’t care. Ninety-nine percent.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s prediction market on Robinhood that same evening showed contracts at 8pm EDT with thresholds above $85,300, $85,700, and $86,000. There were also year-end BTC contracts in the $80,000 to $84,999 range. The platform covers both quick-hit 15-minute windows and longer-dated yearly outcomes. It’s a surprisingly robust setup. Separate from those short-term windows, 64% of contracts predicted Bitcoin would finish above $87,500 by year-end.

Robinhood also announced in September 2026 that it was expanding its prediction market routing through a partnership involving Crypto.com’s OG.com exchange. That covered football contracts first, but the broader infrastructure push signals the company is serious about this space. Notably, event contracts on the platform are offered through Robinhood Derivatives, LLC, which carries standard regulatory disclosures reminding users that futures and cleared swaps trading involves significant risk and is not suitable for everyone. Bitcoin’s strong market position is further reinforced by institutional ETF inflows, which have consistently driven demand and bolstered confidence in price floor estimates.

Contracts on Robinhood are structured simply. A date, a time window, a price threshold, a percentage. The HYPE contracts use that same format. Clean, readable, and very tradable looking. Whether the 10pm EDT HYPE market existed and what it showed remains an open question based on what’s currently confirmed.
