Robinhood now lets you bet on Dogecoin‘s price by the quarter hour. Yes, really. The platform’s crypto prediction market includes 15-minute event windows, and Dogecoin is one of the featured assets. Robinhood labels these contracts as prediction markets, not standard spot crypto trades. Different product. Same jittery energy.
One listed event asks the big question: “What will the price of Dogecoin be on Oct 11, 2026 at 11pm EDT?” That’s the test. Similar events sit at 12am, 1am, 12pm, 4pm, and 5pm EDT that same day. Each one fixes a time and a price threshold. The outcome depends on the price at that designated timestamp. Not a minute earlier.
The thresholds are a wild lineup. The 12am event listed $0.08 or above, $0.085 or above, and $0.09 or above. The 1am event showed $0.085, $0.1, and $0.01. The 12pm event offered $0.085, $0.09, and $0.005. The 4pm event showed $0.015 or above. The 5pm event showed $0.005 or above. A half a cent. Someone had to put that on a menu. Meanwhile, other 2026 forecasts give Dogecoin an 18% chance of finishing above $0.20.
Where does the price come from? Robinhood says Dogecoin markets rely on CF Benchmarks’ Real Time Index. It also notes that not all cryptocurrency price data is the same. Good to know. Some contracts use a 60-second average of that index, excluding the top and bottom 20% of values. So one freaky tick shouldn’t decide everything. Altcoins like Dogecoin tend to show sharper price swings driven by market speculation, which is exactly why a single timestamp can be so unpredictable.
Payouts are usually processed within 1 hour of event resolution, and closed events get labeled as no longer tradable. Timing is generous. At least one crypto-return contract shows availability 24 hours a day, with an exception for Thursday 3AM–5AM ET. Market pages display contract prices, bid/ask levels, and resolution timing. Open markets may show “LIVE.” Dogecoin markets can stay active across multiple intraday slots, so there’s always something ticking. Robinhood’s event contracts are offered through Robinhood Derivatives, LLC, and the listed commissions and fees are $0.00.
The homepage offers longer-range drama too. One Dogecoin question asks, “When will Dogecoin hit $1?” It showed an 8% probability for “Before Jun 1, 2027.” Another contract asks which cryptocurrencies will have a positive return in 2026, and Dogecoin sat at 57¢. Robinhood also lists “how low will DOGE get” and “how high will Dogecoin get” contract types. Pick your poison.
The Oct 11, 2026 11pm EDT event is one slot among many. When the clock hits that timestamp, the index decides. The event closes, and the market is marked no longer tradable. No appeals. Just a number, a deadline, and a payout usually within an hour.
