eth recovery meets remittix hike

Ether bounced off $2,400 and gained about 5% in 24 hours, and the market treated it like a small miracle. That zone used to be resistance. Now it is support, at least for the moment. Traders are eyeing $2,600 as the line that would confirm a trend reversal, with $2,800 and then $3,400 waiting as the next checkpoints. The rebound is being framed as a possible end to the latest pullback. Possible. Not guaranteed.

Ether bounced off $2,400, and old resistance is now support, for the moment. Possible reversal. Not guaranteed.

The bigger picture is less cheerful. On October 11, 2026, ETH traded near $2,501, down 15.7% for the year from $2,967 at the end of 2025. It sat about 49.4% below its August 2025 record of $4,946. Getting back there would take a 97.8% gain. Commentary said ETH had not cleared $2,500 decisively, because several pressures stayed in place. Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded net outflows in 12 of the last 13 sessions, with total withdrawals of $885 million pointing to profit-taking. So the ceiling held. Annoying, but true.

Earlier in October, ETH traded near $2,618 while buyers tried to protect the recovery. The wider resistance cluster sat around $2,750 to $2,800. One analysis wanted a weekly close above $2,800 backed by spot demand. A stronger recovery story only appeared once ETH reclaimed the $2,500 to $2,800 range. Until then, it is a bounce with ambitions. Another headwind is that BitMine plans to stop buying Ethereum once it holds 5% of total supply, and it sits roughly 100,000 ETH away from that ceiling.

Then there is Remittix, which is playing a different game. Its presale was still available at $0.28 before the final stage, where the price is planned to jump to $0.46. That is roughly 64%. Reports describe it as a defined milestone before exchange price discovery begins, and the $0.46 tier is also called a minimum launch price. Public trading is scheduled for November 24.

So this is a staged ladder, not a single fixed entry point. The price is set by schedule, not by an open market. Investors weighing a presale like this should first define their acceptable loss thresholds, since extreme price volatility can lead to significant losses once trading begins.

The fundraising numbers add fuel. One report said Remittix was nearing $33 million raised. Another mentioned a $36 million hard cap. Launch coverage ties the project to a payments and PayFi narrative, and an earn-product update was used to support presale interest. The pitch leans on pre-launch scarcity and scheduled repricing. Open-market performance? Not part of the story yet.

Put the two side by side and the contrast is hard to miss. ETH coverage obsesses over support, resistance, and confirmation signals. Remittix coverage obsesses over a calendar date and a price step. One asset is being judged by whether buyers defend a level near $2,400. The other is being sold on a promised jump. Different rulers, same crypto market.
